Variable Number of Input/Output-Channels

I know one can couple many Mono-Ins/Outs, but it would be really good if one had means to just choose the number of channels in some modules (SoundFilePlayer, In, Out...)

        I like this idea, that *some* modules need generic N-channel support, but not others. It makes sense particularly for the ones you mention. This isn't something that's going to happen any time soon, but I've added it our internal tracker as a feature request.
